Jacobo Ángeles Ojeda, based in Oaxaca, Mexico, is a master artisan dedicated to creating tonas and nahuales, hand-carved from copal wood. Since 1994, his workshop has combined Zapotec artistic traditions with a philosophy rooted in Guelaguetza—sharing what you have, teaching what you know, and giving back to your community.

The workshop supports artisans and young people throughout the Ocotlán Valley while promoting environmental responsibility, cultural pride, and the preservation of Zapotec artistic traditions for future generations.
