Oscar Moya is a multimedia artist whose work explores the convenings of identity, border life, and labor. Much of his work is drawn from personal experiences as an immigrant and a migrant worker. He lived and worked in Chicago for many years and his participation in the 1970s Pilsen mural movement is noteworthy. The NMMA hosted his solo exhibition, Maquila Blues, Oscar Moya in 2017.
