Pascuala Hernandez is a Tsotsil master textile artisan from Zinacantán, Chiapas, and a leader among the community’s women weavers. Taught by her mother and sister to weave on the ancestral backstrap loom, she carries forward a textile tradition passed down through generations.

Her richly embroidered garments reflect the vibrant identity of the Tsotsil people. Through her work and leadership of a women’s weaving cooperative, Pascuala helps preserve this tradition while supporting women and their families in her community.
