Con Safos: Contemporary Chicano Art from the Joe A. Diaz Collection

The paintings, installations, sculptures, and photographs selected for this exhibition were created over the last four decades in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. The participating artists represent the depth of Mexican-American art from the Chicano Civil Rights movement through the present. Their gripping, and heartfelt images of life in the US unveil a dynamic culture that has been a part of America for over 400 years.
