Errol Ortiz (b.1941) is a Chicago native and former student at the School of the Art Institute in the early 1960s. Participating with the Chicago Imagists group, Ortiz continues to be an integral member of this city’s art scene. His iconic puzzle-like paintings are influenced by mass media and popular culture. Representing over five decades of his artistic career, this is Errol Ortiz’s first solo museum exhibition.
