11th Annual Day of the Dead Exhibition.
This year’s exhibition was dedicated to Sister Karen Boccalero of Self-Help Graphics in Los Angeles, who passed away on June 24, 1997. She will be remembered as the first person to have organized a Day of the Dead exhibit in the U.S. and will be very much missed by the Mexicano artist community whose lives and artwork she championed throughout her life.
