Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and 20th Century Mexican Art: The Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection

The most renowned private collection of 20th Century Mexican art. Jacques Gelman (1909-1986) amassed his fortune by producing and distributing the films of the legendary Mexican comic actor, Mario Moreno “Cantinflas”.  His enormous success in the film industry enabled the Gelmans to pursue their passion of collecting fine works of art by some of the leading artists of their time.
