Families with children are welcome to join us for a reading of “Con Mucho Amor” by Jenny Torres Sanchez. Recommended for ages 4 - 8, this Spanish book speaks on family tradition and memory, which we will connect to Fidencio Duran’s “Barbed Heart (Corazon espinado)” currently on view in Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition. Participants will also take home their own art kit related to content discussed. Admission is free, but registration is required. Email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org to register.
