The National Museum of Mexican Art is proud to present this tribute by Chicago area teens to the former first lady of our city. Every year, in celebrating the Day of the Dead, Mexican communities across the U.S. and Mexico take time to remember and pay homage to deceased family members and friends, as well as beloved leaders and celebrities. In doing so we recall their contributions, reinforce their legacies, and keep their spirit alive in the present. The tribute was organized by Yollocalli Arts Reach working with After School Matters students on this special exhibition.
