Maquila Blues, Oscar Moya

By means of painting, drawing, graphic art and photography, Oscar Moya (b. Mexico City, 1956) examines the meaning of identity, social justice, labor in the maquiladoras (foreign owned factories) and the U.S.-Mexico border. By revealing his personal environment through these works, the artist provides viewers a compelling and intimate connection with the subject matter.
