Join us for Sonido Fest taking place on Saturday, August 24th! This vibrant festival highlights the next generation of musicians, featuring exciting performances by a mix of local and international artists. Happening outdoors in the Ray Castro Plaza, Sonido Fest will take place rain or shine.
Sonido Fest features an incredible lineup of indie, alternative, electronic, and contemporary music, including:
- Victor Internet, an indie heartthrob, and versatile musician headlines the evening with his inventive bedroom pop songs.
- ARIEL, known for his vibrant and captivating anthems that exude a sense of nostalgia. Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, he has been making waves in the music scene since 2017, with his breakthrough single “Dame Tu Amor”.
- Mariah Colon, a singer-songwriter from Cicero, IL who takes her audiences through musical wanderlust with dance-forward groves.
- Arroba Nat, a versatile singer-songwriter from Zacatecas, Mexico. Drawing inspiration from a variety of musicians, Arroba Nat explores several musical genres, such as R&B, lo-fi, and bolero.
- Gabacho the solo project of Mexican American songwriter Siul Reynoso presents lo-fi surf rock gems that are defined by his ability to balance and integrate American pop music with traditional Mexican styles like ranchera and cumbia.
- SouthSide Bandits Inc., a local favorite for their ability to blend a variety of genres like blues, boleros, cumbia, bossa nova, rock, and more.

- DJ Chava, a Chicago based DJ who is known for her globally influences, Latin-infused selections and high energy sets. Her carefully selected rotation of reggaeton, R&B, house, and hip-hop tracks have dance floors packed in cities across the country.
- Rosalba Valdez is our host for the day! Rosalba is a young up and coming singer with an immense passion for her Mexican culture.
