The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather presents Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for creative agers. Participants 55 years and above are invited to join us at the museum on October 26th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm for an immersive experience in the galleries followed by an art making activity. The theme of the afternoon will be Day of the Dead, as we highlight our Día de Muertos, Living Presence exhibition. We will be creating nicho boxes inspired by the exhibition using paint markers, collage materials, found objects, tissue paper, and other materials.
