Viva la Vida: Painting with Fabric

The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather presents Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for creative agers. Adults ages 55: join us at the Museum on April 18th from 1-3pm for an immersive experience in the galleries followed by an art making activity. We will highlight Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection, then create artworks using fabric, patterned paper, ribbon, and other materials inspired by the artwork of Alfredo Arreguin.
