¡La entrada siempre es gratuita! Contamos con el apoyo de generosos donadores que nos ayudan a mantener nuestras puertas abiertas y accesibles para todos nuestros visitantes, independientemente de su capacidad de pago.
¿Dónde está ubicado el museo?
El Museo Nacional de Arte Mexicano se ubica en el barrio de Pilsen, al suroeste del centro de Chicago, y puedes llegar fácilmente en auto o transporte público.
Indicaciones para llegar al Museo
Estacionamiento
Los visitantes pueden usar el estacionamiento y plaza Ray Castro, ubicado en el lado este del Museo. El lote está abierto todos los días de 8:00 am a 11:00 pm a una tarifa de $3 por hora.
¿El Museo es accesible?
Nuestras instalaciones son accesibles para sillas de ruedas. Todas las exposiciones, así como la tienda de regalos, se encuentran en la planta principal.
All year round, the NMMA's Education Department offers docent-led tours of our permanent and temporary exhibitions. Tours are tailored to all ages (including parents) and offer visitors an opportunity to learn about art and culture through the artwork on display and the thematic content explored by the exhibition.
Gift Shop
The Musem’s gift shop, Tienda Tzintzuntzán — Place of the Hummingbird, is described by some visitors as an exhibition unto itself. Tienda Tzintzuntzán offers an eclectic variety of unique gifts such as beautifully crafted artwork, jewelry, textiles, and a large selection of books and toys. Our retail team carefully selects items from Oaxaca, Puebla, Taxco, Michoacán, Jalisco, Metepec, Mexico City and other beautiful Mexican regions while on their shopping excursions throughout Mexico.

FAQs
Is parking available?
The Museum has a pay parking lot and free street parking is available. Please check signs for restrictions during certain hours or on street cleaning and snow removal days.
How much time should I plan to spend at the Museum?
We suggest at least an hour to get through all four galleries.
Can I buy something to eat or drink?
We do not have food or drinks at the Museum and none are allowed in the galleries, but we can direct you to some wonderful Pilsen stores and restaurants. Please visit the Our Neighborhood page for more information.
Can I arrange for a private tour?
Yes! But, we need advance notice to schedule something. Please contact us for information on scheduling your tour. Tours are available in Spanish and English.
What are the Museum's regular hours?
Our regular hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
